Ski resorts rely on three big weekends to help the bottom line. The Martin Luther King holiday is usually one of those crucial windfalls that brings thousands of skiers and snowboarders.
Whatever happened to La Nina, anyway? Today we look at the unseasonably warm and rainy weekend and its effect on area ski resorts. Isaac Kaplan-Woolner first spoke with an official from Steven’s Pass, who said numbers were way down. But, he says there is plenty more winter to come.
