• The Stemilt Organic Recycling

Center at 719 S. Columbia St. in Wenatchee, will recycle trees for use as fertilizer for apple, pear and cherry

trees. The center will accept trees from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and then from Jan. 3 to Jan. 8. For

• The Boys Scouts of America will join with Chelan County and the Chelan County PUD

to recycle trees from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 8 at four locations: the Chelan County Shop, 210 Easy St.; the North

Chelan County Recycling Center, 23233 Highway 97A, Chelan; the Entiat Brush Yard, one mile north of downtown

Entiat on Highway 97A near the Columbia Breaks Fire Interpretive Center; and the Dryden Transfer Station, 9073

Highway 2, Dryden.
At the Easy Street location, a $3 donation per tree is suggested to benefit the Boy Scouts.
