Chelan County PUD Commissioners gave final thanks today to outgoing General Manager, Rich Riazzi. It was Riazzi’s final board meeting Monday and he used the opportunity to share his appreciation to the Commissioners and staff Commissioners in turn praised Riazzi for his leadership over the past four years. Riazzi leaves the PUD to accept a management position with Duguesne Power Company, an investor owned utility in Pittsburgh. Riazzi is returning to Pittzburgh to be closer to his family and grandchildren. At their Monday meeting Commissioners also formally named the District’s finance director, John Janney as interim General Manager until a new full-time manager is hired.
