The Pangborn Airport

governing board has completed its search for a new airport manager to replace Pat Moore. The board met in private

Wednesday to interview the three finalist candidates and afterwards announced the selection of Greg Phillips of

Missoula, Montana as their preferred candidate. Phillips is currently employed as Deputy Director of Missoula

International Airport. He was selected over Rod Probst, of Fullerton California and Lisa Parks of Wenatchee.

Pangborn governing board chairman, Mark Spurgeon described Phillips qualifications and explained what set him

apart from the other applicants. Spurgeon says the board will now proceed with an offer of employment and begin

salary negotiations. Outgoing manager, Pat Moore retires at the end of June and Spurgeon says they hope to have

Phillips on the job as of the first of July.
