Salmon, wild fish, the Icicle River watershed, and millions of dollars in federal stimulus money all hang in the balance. The first public meetings will be held today to unveil the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery’s proposed plans for a new water system.

Again, the Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will host two public information meetings today to discuss proposed improvements to the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery and the associated Draft Environmental Assessment.
Both public meetings will be held today in the Alpine Room of the Enzian Inn in Leavenworth. The first meeting is from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. followed by a second meeting at 6:30.
