Here is a correction to an auto

accident story first aired on KOHO Wednesday morning: it appears the bus hit the pickup on Highway 2 Tuesday, not

the other way around as originally reported.

style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">State Troopers say a Trailways bus carrying 40 passengers crashed

into a pickup truck Tuesday on Highway two, injuring two bus passengers. A State Patrol report says it happened

around 1:30 in the afternoon when the pickup, driven by 21 year old Kevin Waters of Peshastin tried to make a left

hand turn. The bus, driven by Kevin Whalen of Spokane, was following the truck. It apparently attempted to pass

the pickup in a no passing lane, struck vehicle, and caused it to spin out of control.

Kevin Waters told KOHO his

pickup’s turn signal was on, and the bus driver should have seen him. Waters said his truck is now

essentially totaled, and while the accident was quite frightening, he and his passenger were luckily unhurt.

"5">The two injured bus passengers were treated at Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth. An investigation

continues and no charges have been filed yet.
