ST. LOUIS (AP) — Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon is calling for a peaceful response after the announcement that a white Ferguson police officer will not face criminal charges in the shooting death of an unarmed black 18-year-old.
Police officers using body cameras in Washington state do not have to ask the person they are recording for consent, even though Washington is one of several states that require “two-party consent” to record audio, Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson said Monday.
